The Hong Kong Psychogeriatric Association (HKPGA) was founded in June 1998 by a group of mental health professionals working in the field of psychogeriatrics in Hong Kong. It is the only professional organisation focusing on the mental health care issues of local older people.

HKPGA is an affiliate organisation of the International Psychogeriatric Association and is one of the member societies of the Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong
